Greek pita breads

Welcome to our culinary workshops during which we will discover the secrets of Greek cuisine! Together with the participating children we will prepare a delicious Greek pita bread, one of the most characteristic dishes for this region of the world.

Greek pita bread is a uniquely popular dish in Greece and in the whole world. It is a type of baked bread made from filo pastry or bread dough filled with different fillings such as vegetables, meat, feta cheese and aromatic herbs.

What can we expect?

• We will discover the secrets of making a traditional Greek pita, while experimenting with authentic ingredients.

• The children will have a chance to find out about the culture and traditions of the culinary Greece.

• In the end, everyone will taste our hand-made pita breads.

What we provide:

• All necessary ingredients and equipment to make Greek pita breads.

• Recipes for pita bread for the children to be able to continue experimenting at home.

• Beverages and snacks for the participants in order to encourage them to participate in the feast.

Workshops are designated for children at the age of 5-10 and they will last for 70 minutes. The children should remain under the care of their parent or guardian for the duration of the workshops.
