Make your own game: Ludo

Creative workshops for children

Saturday 20 April at 12:00 AM (5-10 years)

Welcome to the creative workshops during which the children will be creating their own boardgame! During the workshops we will be applying natural, wooden elements and stones which the children will be decorating to create colourful pawns. We will be inspired by the classic boardgame Ludo.

Ludo is one of the oldest boardgames in the world which originates from China. It is also known under the name Parcheesi or Chinese. The history of this game dates to more than a thousand years back and it was initially a boardgame enjoyed by court societies in ancient China. The Chinese believed that this game brought happiness and good fortune, thus it was often present on imperial manors.

What can we expect?

  • We will create a board of the game together using natural, wooden elements.
