The Aleja Bielany Academy
Aleja Bielany has been actively engaged in the life of local communities, offering support to all those who found themselves in a difficult situation.
In order to realize this mission in cooperation with our tenants and befriended NGOs we have launched a project called Aleja Bielany Academy which offers possibilities of employment and education. The project is targeted at improving the competencies necessary to achieve success on the Polish labour market. The Academy operates in three shopping centres that we own (in Wola Park in Warsaw and in Port Łódź in Łódź).
First release of the Aleja Bielany Academy project has come to an end!
It was an intense period of learning, trainings and work - some of our participants experienced this for the first time in their life. We spent the past few weeks together with our 9 course participants: Maryna, Maksym, Anastiasiia, Alina, Karina, Tetiana, Ivanna, Anastasiia and Natalia.

New experiences
Together with our tenants and befriended NGOs we have created a place designated for organizing an intense Polish language course, enhancing knowledge in the scope of labour culture in the Polish environment and, above all, we managed to hold fully paid internships for each participant during which they were able to learn practical principles of working with cash registers, customer service or handling programmes and devices necessary in a given store.

The Academy graduates
Having completed the programme, some of the participants found employment in IKEA or in the stores of our Tenants whilst others used the obtained knowledge and competencies following their individual career paths with greater courage and self-esteem.
We congratulate all participants!
